All leads are made from leather laces that have been split as needed to insure the same thickness of each lace, beveled so the edges of the laces lay together smoothly, stretched, and conditioned for suppleness. Leads are braided around a strand of 400lb braided dacron core for additional strength and to reduce stretching. This video provides further detail about the core material used. Leads are then rolled and reconditioned after braiding to create a lead that will feel wonderful in your hand.

a former Junior Handler. I began braiding back in 2008 but new sources for materials and better equipment have allowed me to greatly expand what was a very casual hobby into a much enjoyed craft over the past several . It is a great pleasure to create the perfect lead for each and every customer!
